Overview

Built and improved backend services for customer and expert workflows in a large-scale financial platform, with a focus on API design, service reliability, testing, and production stability.

Problem

Customer-facing platforms need to balance reliability, maintainability, and delivery speed. Backend services had to support evolving product requirements while remaining stable in production and easy for downstream systems to consume.

Architecture

The system relied on service-oriented backend components, API contracts, testing practices, production monitoring, and collaboration across engineering and product teams. My work focused on Java and Python services, API evolution, defect resolution, and architecture discussions around scalability.

My role
